Prescription Refills

All prescriptions and authorizations for refills should be requested during normal office hours.

Our practice can be reached 24 hours a day. After hours, your call will be received by our answering service, which will contact the eye doctor on call for our practice. If you have any difficulty reaching the on-call physician and you feel you have a sight-threatening emergency, please go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

Contact Lenses

Our practice fits and prescribes all types of contact lenses, including difficult and hard-to-fit cases. Our prices are competitive with all major retailers in the area. Please note that there are extra professional fees for a contact lens exam, in addition to the regular exam fees for glasses. These extra fees are necessary because a contact lens exam requires more professional time, extra tests are performed and, in some cases, a follow-up visit is required. Most insurance companies will not cover the contact lens portion of the exam. You will be responsible for paying this portion of the exam at check-out. Please contact the office you regularly visit regarding the current fees.
