Meet our team of highly-skilled vision specialists...

Dr. Poland specializes in laser vision correction and no-stitch cataract surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, and did his ophthalmology residency at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. After completion of his ophthalmology residency, Dr. Poland was awarded a fellowship in corneal disorders and refractive surgery at the Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans, one of the leading refractive surgery centers in the United States.

He has performed over 1000 refractive surgical procedures since opening his private practice in 1988. Dr. Poland is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of many local, state, and national medical societies, including the Gwinnett County Medical Society, the Medical Association of Georgia and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gillian, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in no-stitch cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, glaucoma, dry eye disease and diabetic eye disease. He earned his BA at Emory University, and attained his MD at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. In his senior year in medical school, he was president of the college's ethics committee.

He completed his internship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga at Erlanger Medical Center, and his ophthalmology residency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While in his residency, he traveled to Samara, Russia on a surgical mission, training and operating at the hospital of the late Dr. Svyataslov Fyodorov, known as the father of radical keratotomy (RK).

He is a member of the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, where he serves as an appointed member of the Young Ophthalmologist Committee.

In his spare time, he enjoys many types of music, playing guitar and piano, scuba diving, golf, personal fitness, and traveling with his wife Reema.

Dr. McMullan has been practicing in Atlanta for over 20 years. Dr. McMullan was in the first class of Women at the University of Virginia, and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. McMullan completed her residency at both Emory and Grady Hospitals, and then went on to complete 2 fellowships - Corneal-External Disease and Phacoemulsification and Implant surgery.

Dr. McMullan is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a past president of the Atlanta Ophthalmology Society. Dr. McMullan has lectured both internationally, as well as nationally. Dr. McMullan has traveled to Belize to see patients for the Medical Benevolent Foundation and has continued to volunteer her medical services to the non-profit Good Samaritan Center in Atlanta.

Affiliations in Atlanta include Piedmont Hospital, Health South, Northside Hospital, and Shepard Center.

Dr. Winski is a residency-trained optometrist who specializes in refractive surgery co-management, ocular disease and contact lens consultations. He received his doctorate of optometry from the New England College of Optometry. His ocular disease residency was done at The Omni Eye Center in Atlanta. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.

Dr. Kahn, a native of Atlanta , is a board-certified optometrist who specializes in contact lenses, pre/post LASIK, keratoconus, dry eye disease, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive eye disease. Dr. Kahn has been practicing in Atlanta for the past 19 years. He is fourth generation in his family to provide optometric eye care. Dr. Kahn graduated from Pace Academy here in Atlanta, earned his BA at the University of Texas in Austin and attained his OD at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

He completed his internship at the Omni Eye Services in Atlanta . Has performed over 50,000 refractive and contact lens examinations since joining the Kahn Eye Group in 1987. Dr. Kahn served as President of the Greater-Atlanta Optometric Association in 1993-1994.

Dr. Kahn was awarded Georgia's Young Optometrist of the Year in 1994, served as President of the Georgia Optometric Association 1999-2000 and was awarded Georgia 's Optometrist of the Year” in 2000. Dr. Kahn is considered by many to be a expert in the filed of keratoconus and irregular corneal contact lens management. Dr. Kahn is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, greater Atlanta Optometric Association, AOA Contact Lens Section, and the Vision Source network.

Dr. Bailey specializes in ocular disease, contact lenses, and family practice optometry. In 2006, Dr. Bailey received the distinction of Young Optometrist of the Year by her colleagues in the Georgia Optometric Association. From 2004-2006, Dr. Bailey served as the 9 th district President of the Georgia Optometric Association. Currently, Dr. Bailey participates as part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry doctor-student mentor program. While at UAB, Dr. Bailey was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, where she served as part of a medical missions team to Belize.

Dr. Bailey graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia honors program, majoring in microbiology and participating in an undergraduate experimental research program. She completed her doctorate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
